The Sultanate of Oman is the third largest country in the Arabian peninsula. It borders the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the west; the United Arab Emirates in the northeast, and the Republic of Yemen in the south.

Although lying in the tropics, the Sultanate is subject to seasonal changes like the more temperate regions of the world. The hottest months are from June to August. The most pleasant months to visit Oman are from mid-October through March when daytime temperatures fall into the lower 30s and below.

Muscat, the capital of Oman, is a cosmopolitan but relaxed city, free from the hustle and bustle found in many of Arabia's other capital cities. Muscat is Oman's financial and trade centre. Under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Muscat has improved beyond recognition, but has never lost its pride in its heritage and culture. The capital area is a prime example of intelligent and aesthetic development, blending the ancient and modern.

Visa Procedure

If you are a non-GCC national, a visa is required for entry in the Sultanate of Oman. The visa may be issued upon arrival or obtained in advance from Oman's diplomatic and commercial missions worldwide.

However, as part of the varied services we offer to all our exhibitors, we take care of all matters related to the processing of your visa, so you don't anymore have to worry about it. This would enable you to concentrate more on your participation in OGWA 2010.
